Baldwin LightStream Fiber Installation in North Hudson
Baldwin LightStream is beginning a large fiber-optic installation project throughout the Village of North Hudson. The project includes approximately 72,200 feet of utility installation throughout the Village.
The Village appreciates the investment in expanded utility and high-speed internet infrastructure for our community. Residents should be aware that this is a Baldwin LightStream project and is NOT being performed or managed by the Village of North Hudson.
During construction, crews will be working within public rights-of-way and utility easements in various areas of the Village. Residents may see utility markings, construction equipment, boring/plowing activity, temporary lawn disturbances, and restoration work.
⚠️ Sprinklers, Irrigation & Other Private Improvements
Residents with sprinkler systems, irrigation lines, invisible pet fences, or other privately installed items near the construction area may wish to identify or visibly mark their approximate locations as a precaution. This is simply a suggestion that may help make construction crews aware of these items. It does not guarantee that damage will be avoided and is not a requirement or directive from the Village.
If you experience property damage, restoration concerns, construction issues, or have questions about the fiber installation, please contact Baldwin LightStream directly. Because the Village is not managing the project or construction crews, Village staff will not have the information necessary to address individual construction concerns.
