Enhancing Monroe Street N: Share Your Thoughts on Road Improvements and Sidewalks

Per the Village's 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), construction on Monroe Street North, between Lemon Street North and Helen Street North is scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2027.
The purpose of the proposed action is to maintain a safe and efficient transportation system by addressing roadway deficiencies that affect roadway serviceability/maintainability and could also affect roadway safety.
The project needs which support the project purpose are identified below:
• Pavement Deficiencies
• Storm Water Drainage
• Utility Deficiencies
• Pedestrian and Bicycle Accommodations
The public involvement effort for this project was developed to inform the general
public and users of this portion of Monroe Street North of the proposed project and
potential traffic impacts along the project area during construction.

A feedback form was developed and is attached. All feedback needs to be received by using this form by March 24th for consideration.
